Spooky Halloween Party Drink: Witch’s Brew Punch
By the prickling in my thumbs, here is a spooky idea for a festive Halloween party drink that is sure to delight, and frighten all your guests. This refreshing Halloween drink will chill your guests to the bone, literally. For this spooky drink you will need the following utensils:
- 5 to 10 minutes. Prepare shortly before serving.
- A punch bowl and glasses
- Ladle to serve punch
- Mixing spoon
- Ice cream scoop for sherbet
- 1 liter seven up or sprite
- 1 6 oz tin fruit punch from concentrate
- Gummy Spiders or worms
- Rainbow sherbet
- Ice cubes made from red kool-aid.
Before hand, make ice cubes using unsweetened red Kool-Aid so cubes are red. Before mixer is about to begin, mix seven up and enough fruit punch concentrate to taste, together in the punch bowl. Add kool-aid ice cubes when punch is well mixed. Add sherbet by scoopfuls to the top of the punch. Decorate edges of punch bowl with gummy spiders. Serve to guests.
This punch can also be made in other colors such as orange or green, depending on what color you would like your witch’s brew to be. Purchase juice accordingly to what color you want. You might need to add Kool-Aid to get the color you are looking for.
For a healthier punch, try using seltzer instead of soda and sorbet instead of sherbet.
